From Nothing to Basma

Our founder started with a simple ambition: build a marketing company that helps businesses reach the people who matter most. An engineering graduate by training, his real passion was always digital marketing.

He launched his first company in Egypt, and for a while, everything felt like it was finally moving in the right direction.

Then, in 2020, he decided to move to the UAE — chasing a bigger opportunity, carrying every ambition he had. What he didn't expect was just how difficult the road would be.

Over the next six years, he lost more than he ever imagined. Projects he'd built with his own hands. Partnerships he'd trusted. And at times, even his belief in himself.

It wasn't easy to admit, even to himself. But somewhere in the middle of all that loss, one thing never left him: the belief that he was still capable.

There was no single defining moment — it was a series of small decisions, made daily, to get back up.

And out of that struggle, Basma was born. In Arabic, "Basma" means fingerprint — a mark that no one can take from you.

Basma isn't just a marketing and development agency. It's a message to every business owner who feels like they're fighting alone.
